elyxirmusic A softer side to Jessie, I love the vocal topline on this one, it really compliments her vocal style, and showcases her songwriting. I also love the twist at the end!
Universa thumbnail
Universa It's like being in Sweets of Flames, Bubbly and Soapy Colors also harsh and strenuous varying elegance and elation with a little bit of cold velvet shock and feeling of being limited, yet you almost won.

This kind of music, really is the memories and the emotion.

Side Note:
When a giver comes out in musical form with heat, fire and showing the fidelity of emotion this is a great example of that,
also this track sits so similarly in my collection, crazy....

Very Good Track for so many reasons.
dharmalogos thumbnail
dharmalogos Jessie keeps getting better and better at her craft. She has kept her sound consistent while improving her ability to write songs from the depth of her soul that have a lot of emotional impact but also leave room for the listener's interpretation. I once wrote that Jessie's last album was the best pop album I had heard since Lady Gaga's Artpop, but I think this song cements her achievement as one of the best songwriters out there - period.

Breathless is full of romance, vulnerability and majesty. It is the first song me and Matt finished after the Kiss Me In The Rain album. It's important to me that your moments with my songs are special and full of magic. I hope you enjoy the music video, too. From my heart to yours. XO -JFRYE

Dancing alone by the glow of the jukebox
As you take the plane back home
We fell in love through the night and the state lines
Haunted by the open road

First kiss dancing in the flames
All I wanted was the best for you

Your love leaves me breathless
A promise in the pale moonlight
Your love leaves me helpless
I don't want to say goodbye to you

I never asked for a fairytale
You're afraid of the risk
But I know that this is real
Your love leaves me Breathless

We felt the weight of the world on our shoulders
Oh, that summer I healed your wounds
Watching the stars in the sky fade to nothing
But baby- I believe in you

It's too late to take a bow
Every moment worth the pain- somehow

And if I'm not the one then why do you put all your faith in me?
I'm going to leave this in your hands
You know we will never be just friends

I gave my all- it's not enough
The clock strikes twelve
The damage done
